Letter to our friends...

Dear friends,
I apologize for the back and forth on the scheduling of our 4th Beatles Tribute but after much debate we have decided to cancel this event. Fooling April formed 10 years ago (as of last Sept) with the goal of creating original music that we could be proud of and share with whomever was willing to listen.

After our friends at WXPN so kindly asked us to pay homage to our favorite quartet in 2006, it became a yearly undertaking and a wonderful chapter of our musical lives. One thing we never did was take this commitment lightly, spending 4-6 months out of the year preparing each note carefully to give this brilliant music the attention it deserved.

During the past year it has become clear that all of this preparation was keeping us from our true desire to create, record, and perform original music, which is what brought us together in the first place. We hope that you will respect our decision to follow our heart and lend your support as we release a brand new album in the coming weeks as well as get back to performing live.
