Thanks to the Sold Out crowd who made last night so special for us. It is a bitter-sweet feeling the day after the show in that we started preparing back in November 2010 and crammed up until the last minute (memorizing lyrics, learning guitar parts, fine-tuning harmonies) so the hard work is behind us but so is the excitement of performing these great albums! PHILADELPHIA-BASED POP-FAVORITES, FOOLING APRIL, WILL ONCE AGAIN SHOW THEIR LOVE FOR THE BEATLES AS THEY PERFORM “ABBEY ROAD” IN ITS ENTIRETY ON APRIL 1ST (FOOLING APRIL DAY) 2010 AT WORLD CAFÉ LIVE (3025 WALNUT ST. PHILA, PA). FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS OF THEIR 2008 SGT PEPPER TRIBUTE “THIS SEEMED LIKE THE LOGICAL NEXT STEP AND HOPEFULLY WE CAN MAKE IT AN ANNUAL EVENT” SAID FOOLING APRIL FRONT-MAN, BRIAN KENNETH. 13 TOTAL MUSICIANS WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO JUSTICE TO THE BELOVED RECORDINGS RELEASED IN 1969. Happy 2010 ya'll.

With the New Year comes yet another rebirth of FA and new adventures. We are into year 8 (damn we're old) of our little musical endeavor known as "Fooling April". The New Year has found us HARD at work on mastering the Beatles "Abbey Road" album in its entirety for our special performance at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia on April 1st (National Fooling April Day of course). Joining us will be some of our great musical friends and a string quartet to do our best to pay homage to this Beatles Masterpiece. We are also writing and recording new material that we will be releasing as it is recorded rather than holding it until we have enough for an LP. First step is to hit the road and share our whole new set of old and new material including new piano antics and arrangements of your favorites.
